Joanne Farley-Webb is a contemplative artist, mindfulness meditation teacher, Buddhist practitioner and Reiki Master based in Chichester, West Sussex. She studied painting at the Royal Academy of Arts and has more than 35 years of professional arts practice. She is a Dharma Moon and Tibet House-certified mindfulness meditation teacher and has studied with David Nichtern.
Through The Peaceful Paintbrush, Joanne brings together art, compassion, creativity and mindfulness to create welcoming spaces where you can slow down, breathe, create and reconnect with yourself. Her approach is secular, trauma-aware and gently held, offering a zero-pressure and enriching experience where no previous experience of art or meditation is needed.
Joanne’s AuDHD perspective and lived experience inform the way she creates and holds these spaces, alongside her classical artistic training and contemplative practice. Her work explores consciousness, presence, wellbeing, equanimity and the unfolding of who we are and who we are becoming.
Her artistic practice moves between tactile mixed-media painting in the studio and luminous digital landscapes, hand-drawn on an iPad using an Apple Pencil. Her artwork is held in private collections in Britain and internationally.
