This class is for anyone who wishes to devote time to developing their painting and drawing skills, whether working in portraiture, abstraction, intuitive painting or more expressive, surreal approaches. Learn painting and drawing using mixed media, acrylic and watercolour in a supportive one-to-one professional studio setting. Suitable for complete beginners through to those returning to art, these sessions help you build core skills in drawing, tone, colour, composition and observation while gently developing your own creative voice. You will be guided through practical approaches including layering, blending, mark making and working with light and shadow, alongside more intuitive and experimental methods. This supports you in growing confidence, fluency and personal expression at your own pace. This is a calm, non-comparative space where curiosity is welcomed and every mark becomes part of a process of learning, exploration and creative growth.
