''Over the years, my work has continued to evolve, shaped by loss, love and the sacredness of everyday moments. I paint to make space for that kind of stillness, for the extraordinary within the ordinary and the joy of imperfection''

''Creativity is a medicine teacher, gently guiding us home - toward purpose, belonging and a deep sense of grounding that unfolds over time''
Joanne Farley-Webb

''Living a soulful, creative life is both ecstatic and humbling. Those deep, life-recalibrating moments and life tidal waves that shake our core can sometimes be challenging. They often call us to root down, to return to ourselves. Yet within that space and experience lies an opportunity to reveal, affirm,
align and bring us into wholeness"
Joanne Farley-Webb

Joanne Farley-Webb (b. 1973) studied painting at The Royal Academy Schools in London and has developed an interdisciplinary practice spanning visual art, facilitation and socially engaged work. Her work centres on an ongoing enquiry into wellbeing, creativity and transformation, exploring how art can offer a space for reflection, connection and lived experience.
Her practice is informed by a longstanding engagement with meditation, Buddhism and energy work. As a Reiki Master, Joanne brings an awareness of presence, attention and subtle energy into both her studio practice and the spaces she holds for others. These influences are not separate from the work but quietly shape how it is made and shared.
Alongside her studio practice, Joanne works within the community, developing inclusive creative environments that support creative bravery, communication, collective healing and wellbeing through art. She embraces her neurodivergence (AuDHD), with a focus on supporting others through moments of inner climate crisis, while recognising and valuing different forms of creative wisdom and heart centred ways of working through simple materials such as paint and paper.
Across both her personal and collaborative work, she is interested in how creativite re-mindfulness can support people to reconnect with themselves, with each other and with their wider communities. Her work is held in private collections in the UK and internationally.
Her art studio is based in Chichester, West Sussex, UK
In 2020 during the COVID pandemic, Joanne co-founded and implemented an Arts-on-Prescription project in collaboration with My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre, NHS Innovation Primary Trust, NHS West Sussex, Aldingbourne Trust, Pathfinders, and Richmond Fellowship. Funded by Arts Council England and The Big Lottery, this significant and impactful 12-month initiative highlighted the significant benefits of creativity as an intervention,
promoting wellbeing and transformation.
Joanne's paintings arise from an ongoing, intuitive enquiry into form and formlessness, and the path of self-transformation. Each work belongs to a perpetual unfolding: a series of inward metaphysical explorations expressed through streams of consciousness Asemic writing, iridescent metallic mediums, resin, rhinestones and reflective particles that shift with the light.
As the light moves, so too do the images; at times they shimmer into being, and they also dissolve, disappearing into silence. This dance between the seen and unseen invites the viewer into stillness into the liminal space where perception meets devotion, and where the boundary
between the inner and outer world softens.
Joanne’s work is gently inspired by the teachings of Ram Dass, Sharon Salzberg, and Jack Kornfield, as well as the devotional music and Kirtan chanting of Krishna Das are woven naturally into her art, life and creative journey.

With over three decades of lived experience working with creativity, Joanne walks alongside individuals and groups as a gentle guide, companion and teacher. She works from her private studio in Chichester, West Sussex, UK and blends traditional fine art instruction with intuitive, heart-led ways of making, creating space for curiosity, reflection, and playful exploration. Her non-clinical, contemplative pathways to wellbeing are woven from the mindful ritual of meditative mark-making, where each mark becomes a small act of presence and care. Here, art is medicine - a language of connection, inner discovery and gentle transformation. Inspired by Kirtan chanting, Joanne’s paintings honour the sacred beauty of everyday life and the quiet magic that unfolds when we create from within.
