THE NEXT JOANNE FARLEY-WEBB ARTIST RESIDENCY STARTS OCTOBER 2024
APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
Although all free residency slots for 2024 have been filled, we are pleased to offer more in-depth, self-funded residency options for those seeking a dedicated environment to advance their creative practice. These residencies are especially suited for painters and creatives looking to deepen their studio focus, as well as for writers and artists interested in developing small-scale works, sketchbook exploration, drawing, writing, creating funding applications, portfolios, project planning, mentoring support, or engaging in meaningful, non-judgmental dialogues about their practice.
This is a valuable opportunity to dedicate time to various aspects of your creative journey beyond just the act of creation. Whether you're refining your concepts, exploring new directions, or seeking practical guidance, our residency offers an enriching environment for reflection, experimentation, and growth.
About the Residencies
The Residency is self-funded and not free of charge, it's a studio-based program designed to nurture the growth of your practice within a professional setting at the Chichester Studio. Joanne will be working alongside you at all times. While this program does not offer formal qualifications, it is dedicated to advancing your creative process with intention, providing clarity, setting achievable goals, and creating a space where collaboration and progress go hand in hand.
Participants will benefit from Joanne’s 35+ years of experience in the creative industry, gaining insight and informal mentorship. Through practical painting guidance and industry advice, Joanne will help you refine your ideas and advance your body of work.
This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in a longer term supportive and dynamic environment, working closely with an established artist while surrounded by like-minded creatives. Whether you’re looking to conduct research, strategize, conceptualize, or focus on specific projects, this residency provides the ideal space to create with intention.
